Interlock achieves EASNA/COA Accreditation
Interlock Employee and Family Assistance Corporation of Canada promotes continuous improvement in the quality of service delivered to its customers and clients by seeking accreditation from the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA) and the Council on Accreditation (COA).

Paula Cayley, President and CEO of Interlock, has been a Council on Accreditation (COA) Peer Reviewer/Team Leader, an Advisory Council member, and an active contributor to the development of EAP standards.

By achieving the status of Accreditation through EASNA/COA, Interlock has demonstrated that it meets the highest standards of quality the industry has set.

EASNA developed in partnership with COA landmark standards in the EAP industry which address:
  • Administration and Management
  • Health and Safety
  • Finance
  • EAP Legal Liability
  • Contracts for EAP Services
  • Quality Improvement
  • Personnel and Affiliate Competence
  • Staff Supervision and Training
  • Professional Practice
  • Access to Service and Referrals
  • Service Delivery
Based on the high achievement of Interlock's re-accreditation, Interlock received an "expedited" accreditation.

The accreditation process was experienced as a highly effective organizational improvement process.

Interlock is accredited by EASNA/COA through June 2007.

A case study on Interlock's process of accreditation was published in the Employee Assistance Quarterly, Volume 19, Number 1, 2004.
